In the first quarter of 2025, Wargaming paid almost 3 million euros in taxes in Lithuania
Our colleagues from dev.by continue to monitor how Belarus-rooted IT companies are faring in Lithuania. This time, they have determined the size of tax contributions for the first quarter of 2025.

The journalists obtained their information from data provided by the State Tax Inspectorate under the Lithuanian Ministry of Finance.
Specifically, they found that Wargaming's Lithuanian branch remains one of the largest taxpayers among all IT companies in Lithuania, not just those of Belarusian origin. It ranks fifth. From January to March 2025, the company contributed €2.94 million in taxes to the country’s treasury, 2% less than the previous year.
For comparison, here are Wargaming's quarterly tax contributions in 2024:
- January-March 2024 — €2.97 million;
- April-June 2024 — €2.99 million;
- July-September 2024 — €4.29 million;
- October-December 2024 — €3.02 million.
Other gaming-related companies mentioned in the dev.by article include Moon Active (the Lithuanian office of Moon Active was previously Melsoft) and Belka Games. During the quarter, they paid €1.2 million and €0.1 million in taxes in Lithuania, respectively.
