A former Moscow City Duma deputy is conducting a survey among indie developers about the gaming law in Russia
The authors of the bill regulating the gaming industry in Russia show little interest in the opinions of independent developers. This is the perspective of former Moscow City Duma deputy Yelena Yanchuk. She decided to conduct her own survey among indie teams.
Yanchuk published a thematic survey on social media. She invited indie developers to share their views on the bill and what changes they might want to see in it.
For instance, Yanchuk asks what indie developers think about censorship, game labeling, and mandatory gamer authentication, as well as what support measures they desire.
Yanchuk promises to first present the survey results at a round table at the Higher School of Economics and then submit them to officials.
