In the third quarter of 2024, Wargaming contributed approximately 4.3 million euros in taxes to Lithuania, making it the top performer among IT companies in the country

In July-September 2024, Wargaming paid 4.3 million euros into Lithuania’s treasury. This is 20% more compared to last year. This was reported by the portal dev.by, citing data from the Lithuanian tax authority.

According to updated information from the Lithuanian Ministry of Finance:

  • Wargaming paid a total of 10.3 million euros in taxes from January to September (which is 13% less than the previous year);
  • by the end of the nine-month period, the company ranked second among the largest taxpayers in Lithuania’s IT sector, second only to EPAM;
  • Wargaming ranked 106th among all companies in Lithuania in terms of taxes paid for the year;
  • as of September, the Lithuanian office of the company employed 857 people. The staff size has decreased by 6% since the beginning of the year;
  • the average salary of company employees in the country is 5.4 thousand euros (before taxes and other deductions).
