The court dismissed the lawsuit to ban Last Train Home in Russia

The Oktyabrsky District Court of St. Petersburg refused to consider the lawsuit for a ban on the strategy game Last Train Home in Russia. The court cited a lack of evidence proving the game's harm.

The head of the city courts' unified press service, Daria Lebedeva, clarified on her Telegram channel that the lawsuit lacked screenshots that would support the conclusions of the examination conducted regarding the game.

"The court cannot declare something prohibited if it cannot see it and, accordingly, does not have the opportunity to comprehensively evaluate it," wrote Lebedeva.

The plaintiffs have 15 days to appeal the court's decision.

As a reminder, the lawsuit to ban Last Train Home was filed by the prosecutor's office. It claimed that the game distorts history, undermines Russian patriotic traditions, and is capable of "harming the mental and social health and development of children."
