Age ratings for in-game content will appear in Fortnite
Epic Games continues to develop the Fortnite ecosystem. The company announced that since the game has content for different ages, then everyone should be assigned an appropriate age rating.
Epic Games has signed an agreement with the International Coalition for Age Ratings (IARC). It will help with marking "islands" in Fortnite.
Now users who want to add the "island" they created to Fortnite will have to fill out an IARC questionnaire, according to the results of which the content will receive a rating. Only then will they be able to send the "island" to Epic Games moderators for review before publication.
The authors of the already published "islands" must also fill out a questionnaire. If they don't, their content will be removed from Fortnite.
The questionnaire will be available on October 16, and the ratings will appear in the game on November 14.
