Media: NetEase sued Blizzard over the closure of games in China
The conflict between NetEase and Blizzard Entertainment continues to develop. According to Sina Technology, the Chinese company filed a lawsuit against Blizzard and demanded to pay her ¥300 million or about $ 43.5 million.
According to the publication, NetEase wants developers to reimburse the closure of Blizzard games in China: all the company’s titles except Diablo Immortal stopped working in China on January 23 after the partnership agreement between NetEase and Blizzard expired.
The sum of ¥300 million includes compensation for refunds to Chinese gamers, unsold merch and prepayment for work on unreleased games.
