Sony will give Microsoft access to internal documents in the framework of the corporation's court with the FTC

An American court ordered Sony to share information with Microsoft about the work of the gaming division — Microsoft needs this data for proceedings with the US Federal Trade Commission (FTC).

Earlier, Sony tried to convince the court not to grant Microsoft’s request for access to its internal information. In particular, she argued that the corporation requires too many documents, and the execution of this request will cost $ 2 million. The court disagreed with most of Sony’s arguments.

However, on two counts, the court still accepted Sony’s arguments. He allowed Sony to provide only documents for the period from 2019 to the present (Microsoft wanted documents from 2012). Sony may also not disclose the results of the certification of the heads of the gaming division.
