The producer of Disco Elysium withdrew the lawsuit against the majority shareholder ZA/UM
Kaur Kender, executive producer of Disco Elysium, will not sue Tütreke in Estonia, which allegedly bought out a stake in ZA/UM with the studio’s own money. The developer’s decision was announced by representatives of ZA/UM in the comments GamesIndustry.biz .
Why the Kender withdrew the claim is not explained. The studio said only that this lawsuit “should never have been filed.” According to ZA/UM, by taking the documents from the court, the Kender proved that his accusations had insufficient grounds.
In addition to Kender, Robert Kurvitz and Alexander Rostov are suing ZA/UM shareholders. Earlier, they reported that they would file lawsuits both in Estonia and in the UK.
