Media: FTC may approve a deal between Microsoft and Activision Blizzard
Recently, another of the authorized members of the US Federal Trade Commission (FTC) began to lean in favor of the purchase of Activision Blizzard by Microsoft, sources say the New York Post. Now exactly half of the inspectors are in favor of the deal.
According to the publication, if the situation does not change, the chairman of the FTC Lina Khan (Lina Khan) will be forced to support the deal. It is expected that the commission will prepare a preliminary report on the transaction by mid-December, and will make a final decision in January.
Earlier, Politico reported that the FTC is preparing to file an antitrust lawsuit, with which it will try to block the purchase.
