Atlus is suing fans who launched a server for the closed Shin Megami Tensei: Imagine
The company claims that gamers violated its copyrights. Now Atlus demands that they shut down the server, pay compensation in the amount of $ 25 thousand and reimburse court costs.
Shin Megami Tensei: Imagine is an MMORPG released in Japan in 2007. The following December, the game became available to American players (and in January 2009 and European), but in 2014, the developers closed the Western version of the project. Japanese servers were also shut down in 2016.
