Sony was sued. The company was accused of hiding information about a defect in the PS5
Sony has received another class action lawsuit due to faulty equipment. This time, the PS5 is at the center of the dispute. According to dissatisfied users, sometimes the console suddenly turns off right during the game. Although almost two years have passed since the release of the PS5, the company has allegedly not yet released a patch that fixes this problem.
The initiator of the lawsuit is a resident of Illinois, Christina Trejo. She stated that the company is aware of the problem with the console and not only does not solve it, but also hides it from buyers. According to Trejo, Sony “knowingly sold millions of defective PS5S.”
Now Trejo is demanding that Sony reimburse the damage. How much the company should pay is not specified.
Sony has not publicly commented on the allegations. Earlier, she was sued because of the drift of DualSense sticks.
