The court rejected the lawsuit of gamers who opposed the deal between Microsoft and Activision Blizzard

At the end of last year, 10 gamers from the United States decided to prevent Microsoft from buying Activision Blizzard and sued the corporation. Their attempt was unsuccessful. Judge Jacqueline Scott Corley dismissed the lawsuit, ruling that there was not enough evidence in it.

The judge was not convinced by the claims of gamers that the deal would harm competition in the gaming market. “Why would Microsoft make Call of Duty exclusive to its platforms if it would lead to a decrease in game sales? What is it about the console or PC game markets, as well as Microsoft’s position in these markets, that makes such Microsoft moves look plausible?”, asked Scott Corley.

Now gamers have 20 days to correct the claim and re-send it to court.
