Alan Wilson, vice president and co-founder of Tripwire Interactive, will now lead the company.

He will try to re-establish a dialogue with employees and partners of the publishing house, who were not satisfied with Gibson’s statement. For example, in the near future, he, along with the rest of the leaders, is going to hold a corporate-wide meeting.

In its statement, Tripwire Interactive management stressed that it does not share Gibson’s opinion about the Texas law.

John Gibson's statements are his own opinion. They do not reflect the opinion of Tripwire Interactive. His comments did not take into account the values of our entire team, our partners and most of our wider community. Tripwire Interactive management deeply regrets what happened. We are preparing to take swift action and create a more favorable environment.

From Tripwire Interactive's statement

Recall that over the weekend Gibson on Twitter spoke approvingly about the new anti-abortion law in Texas, which prohibited aborting a pregnancy after the sixth week. This position has caused dissatisfaction with the gaming industry. Gibson was criticized by many developers, and Shipwright Studios terminated its partnership with Tripwire Interactive.
