Gamevil invests in Finnish and Ukrainian companies

Korean publisher Gamevil reported that its revenue from foreign markets for the third quarter amounted to $11.4 million. In this regard, the company continues to actively finance small European and Latin American studios.

$11.4 million is 108% more than in the same period of 2012. Total sales in all markets amounted to $19.6 million, which is 20% more than in the second quarter of this year.

However, net profit, on the contrary, fell. And by a significant 63%, amounting to $ 1.7 million. This drop in Gamevil is explained by increased payments to third-party studios and activity abroad.

Downloads of all games since the release of Gamevil on the mobile market have grown to 330 million.

By the way, Gamevil has announced the continuation of its expansion. Koreans have recently invested in Finnish Ocean View Games, founded by people from Rovio (the studio has not released anything yet), Colombian Brainz (Vampire Season and Social Street Soccer) and Ukrainian Zadzen (currently working on Elements: epic heroes).
