As the company announced, it has been approved not for a regular loan but for a revolving credit facility. This means it can repeatedly borrow and repay money from the bank within a set limit. Currently, Embracer Group has access to a line of 2 billion Swedish kronor, or approximately 202 million dollars.
The designated funds will be available to Embracer Group for two years. Then, it will have the option to extend the line for another two years. However, Embracer Group plans to replace it with another one once Fellowship Entertainment officially leaves the company, taking with it Warhorse Studios, 4A Games, Crystal Dynamics, Eidos-Montréal, and several other teams. Note that the "divorce" between Embracer Group and Fellowship Entertainment is planned for around 2027.
It is unknown what exactly Embracer Group intends to spend the credit funds on. In its press release, the company stated only that the funds would be used for "corporate purposes" and provide greater flexibility.
As of June 30, 2026, Embracer Group had 5 billion Swedish kronor (504 million dollars) in cash, with its short-term and long-term liabilities standing at 1.5 billion Swedish kronor (153.7 million dollars).
