Makers Fund will spend another $250 million on investments in games and interactive entertainment

The venture capital fund Makers Fund has raised a quarter of a billion dollars for new investments. The money raised will be invested in startups, including gaming ones.

Details on how the fund plans to allocate the $250 million between game developers and companies in the field of interactive entertainment have not been specified.

As a reminder, for Makers Fund this is the fourth round of financing. The fund also received investment funds in 2017, 2019, and 2021. Throughout its operation, it has returned 3.6 times the invested capital, and the total assets under its management have exceeded $1.5 billion.

Previously, Makers Fund has supported numerous gaming companies. For example, it invested in tinyBuild, Dream Games, Second Dinner, Theorycraft Games, and Bossa Studios.
