FirstLook has introduced a new platform, Creators.gg, which prioritizes creators. The platform's initial launch partners include IO Interactive and Brain Jar Games

FirstLook, a platform focused on player relationships and marketing, has introduced Creators.gg. This new service is designed to link game studios with creators irrespective of their audience size, expanding opportunities beyond just those with large followings.

Creators.gg allows content creators to gain early access to playtests and upcoming multiplatform game content. Among the launch partners are IO Interactive and Brain Jar Games.

During its beta phase, the platform saw over 10,000 creators join. Unlike traditional methods, these creators earn rewards based on their performance instead of just follower counts.

The platform operates like a "battle pass for streaming," where creators upload content, monitor viewership, and unlock rewards when reaching specific milestones.

Creators enjoying the platform can take advantage of features like low payment thresholds, immediate bank transfers, PayPal withdrawal, and local payment options.

Eden Chen, CEO of FirstLook, stated that Creators.gg aims to forge deeper, more beneficial relationships between content creators and game developers. "We're creating a platform where creators are fairly compensated for the engagement they bring. Our objective is to equip every creator with the resources and financial support necessary to sustain a viable long-term career."

Gabriel Begorgis, who manages social media and influencers at IO Interactive, commented: "Creators.gg has simplified our processes for managing creator campaigns at IOI."

He highlighted the platform's user-friendly nature and extensive customization tools, enabling tailored experiences for games. It offers a direct line for engaging with creators and acknowledges their efforts through on-platform rewards.

Begorgis noted one significant benefit is the ease of collaborating with creators of various sizes. While large creators remain vital, smaller creators form the community's backbone, and Creators.gg has enhanced IOI's ability to nurture and expand these relationships effectively.
