Behaviour Interactive has acquired The Fun Pimps, the studio behind 7 Days to Die
The amount of the deal is not disclosed.
7 Days to Die
It is reported that The Fun Pimps will retain creative control over 7 Days to Die. At the same time, they will now be able to rely on support and expertise from Behaviour Interactive, which will help accelerate the title's development.
According to Behaviour Interactive's CEO Rémi Racine, acquiring The Fun Pimps was a natural decision for his team.
"7 Days to Die fits seamlessly into Behaviour Interactive's goal of building a diverse portfolio of high-quality horror games. Moreover, it perfectly complements Dead by Daylight — both games have evolved alongside their communities," Racine explained.
It is worth noting that Behaviour Interactive doesn't frequently make acquisitions. The last time they announced an M&A deal was in September 2024, when they acquired Red Hook Studios, the creators of Darkest Dungeon. The acquisition cost was also not publicly disclosed at that time.
