Boris Gertsovsky got rid of his stake in GDEV

GDEV announced that its co-founder Boris Gertsovsky is no longer among its shareholders.

It was reported that Gertsovsky had previously reduced his stake. However, only now has he sold off the remaining balance.

Until recently, he held more than 2.73 million ordinary shares of the company, which he ultimately decided to sell to GDEV's CEO, Andrey Fadeev.

The price at which Fadeev purchased the securities from Gertsovsky is undisclosed. Considering that at the time of writing, shares are trading at $14.15 each, the transaction can be estimated at $38.6 million.

Fadeev now owns a total of 6.7 million ordinary shares of GDEV—37% of the company.

The GDEV press release notes that the transaction occurred privately, without using any resources from the gaming holding.

As a reminder, in 2022, Gertsovsky left the board of directors of GDEV, which at the time operated under the name Nexters. Later, he fully departed from the company and now leads the newly revived studio Crazybit.
