NCSOFT announced that it has acquired a total of 67% of the shares of Indygo Group. Additionally, through this deal, it has gained control not only over the publisher but also its subsidiary studio, Lihuhu Games. The latter gained recognition with mobile games such as Parking Master, Woodber, Triple Find 3D, and Match Triple 3D.
Simultaneously, NCSOFT announced plans to purchase the Korean studio Springcomes, which developed Merge Sweets, Kingdom Wars, and several dozen other games. How much the company is willing to pay for it has not been disclosed.
In the future, NCSOFT also aims to acquire a number of European teams.
All these acquisitions are necessary for NCSOFT to strengthen its position in the casual mobile games market and diversify its portfolio. Notably, the company has become more active in the casual segment recently. For instance, in August 2025, it launched a special division dedicated to developing such games, including those using artificial intelligence technologies.
