Mythwright has acquired the rights to the Thronefall intellectual property and intends to uphold its mobile partnership with Doghowl Games
TerraTech's publisher, Mythwright, has taken ownership of the full Thronefall intellectual property from Grizzly Games.
The company is reaching out to the tower defense game's fan base to gather suggestions for its future direction. It also aims to sustain the existing "close partnership" with Doghowl Games, the publisher responsible for the mobile adaptation.
Paul Schnepf of Grizzly Games commented that being a small team of just two people limited their capacity to fully develop Thronefall's potential. He mentioned that while they recognized players' desire for more content, they were also eager to explore new projects.
Schnepf expressed excitement about transferring the complete IP to Mythwright, whom they have confidence in to nurture the game and its community. He looks forward to the new developments that will arise from this transition and the enjoyment players will derive from it.
