CD PROJEKT Report: Company profits increased 2.5 times, with Cyberpunk 2077 sold 35 million times

CD PROJEKT had an excellent third quarter in 2025. In a recent financial report, the company boasted growth in key metrics and the continued success of Cyberpunk 2077.

  • Net profit for CD PROJEKT for July-September 2025 reached 193.5 million PLN ($53 million), which is 148% more than the previous year.
  • CD PROJEKT's revenue grew not as substantially as profit, but still significantly—by 53% to 349 million PLN ($95.7 million).
  • The lion's share of revenue came from Cyberpunk 2077 and the Phantom Liberty expansion. They earned 252.7 million PLN ($69.3 million) in three months, which is 118% more compared to 2024. Apparently, the increase in income was aided by the release of the game on Nintendo Switch 2 and Mac, as well as its inclusion in the PlayStation Plus subscription.
  • Additionally, CD PROJEKT announced that sales of Cyberpunk 2077 exceeded 35 million copies.
  • Meanwhile, revenue from The Witcher franchise fell by 52% to 26.1 million PLN ($7.1 million).
  • The geographic breakdown of CD PROJEKT's quarterly revenue is as follows: 75.86% of income came from North America, 12.37% from Europe excluding Poland, 9.17% from Asia. The domestic market accounted for 1.15% of revenue.
  • At the end of October, CD PROJEKT employed 851 developers—an increase of 52 since the end of July. Most people were working on The Witcher 4 (447 people) and Cyberpunk 2 (135 people).
