Sega has announced it will boost the pay of its employees in Japan by approximately 10%. This adjustment includes an increase in the starting salaries for new recruits.

As per a release from the company, these changes will take effect on April 1, 2026. New graduates can anticipate an entry-level compensation starting at around ¥330,000 (approximately $2131).

The company stated: "The base salary for current full-time staff in Japan will be increased by an average of 10%. This includes integrating part of the bonuses and modifying our compensation structure based on roles," according to an automated translation.

Sega emphasized its commitment to its mission of 'Empower the Gamers: Continuing to create moving experiences' by supplying entertainment and services globally.
