The horror game about the slot machine CloverPit was purchased 300,000 times in four days
The game's creators, two Italian developers from the Panik Arcade studio, announced this on its Steam page.
CloverPit
CloverPit is a horror "rogue-like" where the main character is locked in a chamber with a slot machine and an ATM. It's not easy to escape from there. While waiting for a chance to flee, the hero must constantly find new ways to earn more money and pay off debts, or else they risk falling into hell.
According to Panik Arcade, the success of CloverPit has been a "dream come true" for the studio. The developers thanked gamers for their support and promised to keep enhancing the game.
CloverPit was released on Steam on September 26 and has received 4,500 positive reviews (91%) to date. Notably, it was initially set to release on September 3, but the developers decided to postpone it to avoid competition with Hollow Knight: Silksong.
