Testronic, a quality assurance company, acquires a "significant" new investment while it reorganizes its global operations

The quality assurance firm Testronic has obtained a "significant" new funding intended to boost its growth and secure its global activities for the future. The investment will further be directed at "strengthening" the firm's leadership.
While specific details regarding the financial backing from TDC, an affiliate of KKR, were not disclosed, Testronic has restructured by closing its offices in Madrid and Belgrade and retiring the Catalis Group name. Conversely, the workforce of testers in Manila has been doubled, with a concentrated effort on enhancing their Center of Excellence in the United States, Europe, and Southeast Asia.
Several high-level appointments have been made, including Samantha Williams, formerly a director at Meta, as chief revenue officer; Lewis Read, a former senior QA executive, as VP of global partnerships; and Linda Quinn, previously Keywords' marketing director, as the global head of marketing.
"This marks a critical point for our company. While difficult, these decisions are made to fortify our business going forward," stated CEO Sharon Baylay-Bell. "Our financial standing is robust, allowing us to invest more in our Centers of Excellence located in the US, Europe, and Southeast Asia. We are actively hiring across these regions, maintaining our commitment to innovation and cutting-edge technology."
"Our focus can now return to delivering our core services—QA Testing and Localization through Testronic, and outstanding 3D and VFX Art via Secret 6. The divestment of Curve Games has enabled us to streamline operations and simplify our previously complex corporate structure."
"We are at a significant stage in our evolution, and by leveraging our strengths and driving innovation, we aim to build more substantial and focused client partnerships that prioritize player satisfaction and client results."
Testronic expanded with a new "state-of-the-art testing facility" in Manila, Philippines, last April. Located in the Mega Tower in Mandaluyong City, this "world-class" facility is crafted to provide top-quality QA services internationally and features advanced security measures.
