Another group of employees has been laid off at Crystal Dynamics
The studio Crystal Dynamics announced a new round of layoffs on LinkedIn. This time, they did not disclose the number of affected employees.

In the official statement, the studio explained that this decision was made due to "changing business conditions." It was not an easy decision, but necessary to ensure Crystal Dynamics’ long-term stability.
Crystal Dynamics emphasized that the layoffs will not affect the next installment of Tomb Raider.
The layoffs affected at least the team working with developers from The Initiative on the canceled Perfect Dark remake. Although the studio did not mention this in their statement, this information was indicated by posts on social media made by laid-off employees and noted by the IGN portal.
Previous layoffs at Crystal Dynamics occurred at the end of March. At that time, 17 employees left the studio.
