Mafia: The Old Country was purchased over 800,000 times in five days — analysts
The fact that the new Mafia installment has sold this number of copies was reported by VG Insights in a LinkedIn post.

According to analysts, nearly half of the initial sales of the game were for the PlayStation 5 version — 48.67%. The Steam version was the second most popular, comprising 37.86% of sales. The Xbox version of Mafia: The Old Country, in turn, accounted for only 13.47% of copies sold within the first five days.
VG Insights also reports that players spend an average of 8.8 hours in Mafia: The Old Country.
Other metrics of Mafia: The Old Country were not shared by analysts in their post. However, on the VG Insights website, it is revealed that the game has earned $13.7 million on Steam alone to date.
It is worth noting that Mafia: The Old Country was released on August 7. A month before its release, official data showed that the title had over 2.5 million wishlists, suggesting substantial potential for sales growth.
