Appcharge, a platform enabling direct-to-consumer payments for mobile game publishers, has conducted an extensive analysis of $500 million in web store transactions. The study highlights diverse payment preferences across different nations.

The analysis indicates that, on average, credit cards constitute 35% of web store payments. However, the percentage of transactions via credit cards varies significantly by region.
