Hasbro received $83 million in royalties from MONOPOLY GO! in the first half of 2025

The mobile hit MONOPOLY GO! is generating increasing revenue for Hasbro, the company that owns the rights to the IP. In its recent financial report, Hasbro revealed that royalties from the game amounted to $83 million for the period from January to June 2025.

To grasp the magnitude: this is nearly three-quarters of the amount that MONOPOLY GO! earned for Hasbro throughout last year.

The company boasted that its monthly revenue generated by the game now amounts to approximately $14 million. Last October, Hasbro reported a much lower figure—$10 million.

This growth is attributed to Scopely’s—publisher and developer of MONOPOLY GO!—strategic approach in selecting partners for collaborations. Specifically, Hasbro is pleased with the results of the crossover with "Star Wars" that took place in May. Amid high player interest, the company spent less on UA than planned.

MONOPOLY GO! was released in April 2023. It is known that by its second anniversary, the game generated $5 billion.
