Roblox has introduced a new Learning Hub, centralizing numerous interactive learning experiences for students.

As students in the Northern Hemisphere enjoy their summer break, Roblox Corporation has noted that this new feature supports an opportunity to "learn while playing" during their time away from school.

The Learning Hub hosts a variety of topics for different age ranges, covering essential subjects such as mathematics, English, and computer science, as well as skills relevant to daily life and contemporary issues.

One upcoming highlight from BBC Bitesize, named Planet Planners, caters to children aged 11-14 by addressing global challenges like preparing for natural disasters and urban management. This educational tool aligns with both UK national curricula and the United States' K-12 standards.

"BBC Bitesize aims to deliver superior educational experiences to learners globally. Game-based learning provides a valuable means for students to engage with complex topics and develop essential skills like critical thinking and problem-solving," explained Oonagh Jaquest, executive producer of BBC Bitesize at BBC Education.

"Roblox has collaborated closely with us to create an enriching experience, enabling young users to explore global locations, witness the results of their choices in these environments, and engage together as class groups."

The well-received STEM game Sesame Street Mecha Builders, currently boasting 70 million visits, is also featured in the Learning Hub.

Additional experiences include Domain Rangers, focused on marine biology; Lua Learning, introducing participants to programming; and Words of Power, an RPG aimed at enhancing communication skills. Google's Be Internet Awesome World remains available for lessons on online safety.

The Learning Hub is accessible through the Learn icon under the More tab on Roblox’s desktop and mobile applications.
