The franchise currently consists of two series, each containing two games: the eponymous Hammerwatch (an action RPG series) and Heroes of Hammerwatch (a roguelike series).
Co-founder of Crackshell, Niklas Myrberg, will continue to be responsible for the development of the franchise. He has joined the creative team at Everplay Group, which under his supervision will optimize the management of the already released games and “explore the commercial potential” of possible sequels. Moreover, Myrberg has become a member of the group's board of directors.
Everplay Group also announced it acquired the publishing rights for Settlement Survival by Gleamer Studio and Operation: Tango by Clever Plays. All these acquisitions cost less than 8 million pounds sterling ($10.79 million).
