The mobile gaming studio Million Victories, based in Lyon, has successfully secured close to $40 million in new funding, with Haveli Investments taking the lead. This financial boost is intended to foster the company's global expansion and bolster the team working on their game Million Lords.

The developer's growth strategy includes doubling its staff by 2027, with plans to fill vital roles such as game director, live operations director, chief technology officer (CTO), growth lead, and senior user acquisition managers.

The investment will also support efforts to increase user acquisition in regions like France, the U.S., Germany, and the U.K., as well as in Asian markets such as South Korea and Japan.

Benoît Ducrest, CEO and co-founder of Million Victories, expressed that Haveli shares a deep understanding of the studio's vision and achievements with Million Lords. "Haveli offers more than just financial support. Their team's extensive experience in the gaming sector is a valuable asset, enabling us to make strategic decisions and expand our reach," Ducrest stated.

Diwakar Rao, Principal at Haveli Investments, remarked on the success, highlighting Million Lords as a uniquely positioned title thriving in a competitive space thanks to the team's distinct strategy and commitment. "We are excited to back Million Victories in their ambitious plan to scale Million Lords worldwide," said Rao.

Previously, Million Victories raised $1.4 million when it launched in 2019. In 2021, the company secured $3 million in a Series A funding round led by Griffin Gaming Partners. In 2023, it further garnered $6.5 million, with contributions from Eurazeo and Griffin Gaming Partners.
