VG Insights: In the first three days, Death Stranding 2 was purchased 674,000 times
Last Thursday, June 26, saw the release of Death Stranding 2: On the Beach. The Kojima Productions studio itself has yet to share any figures about the game, so the analytical service VG Insights did so instead.

Analysts calculated that by the end of its debut day, Death Stranding 2's sales had reached half a million copies. The next day, they approached 600 thousand copies, and by the evening of June 28, they reached 674 thousand copies. According to their estimates, the creation of Hideo Kojima’s team is expected to surpass the one million copy mark in the coming days.
It is reported that 36% of the Death Stranding 2 audience are residents of the USA. Additionally, 14% of the game's owners are from China, 10% from Japan, 7% from the United Kingdom, and 3% from Canada.
VG Insights noted that Death Stranding 2 has a good level of engagement. On average, players have spent 12.5 hours on the game, and 4% of players have already exceeded 40 hours.
Currently, Death Stranding 2 is available only on PlayStation 5.
