The mobile publisher Brightika announced plans to invest $3 million in indie games for PC and consoles

The mentioned amount is planned to be invested over the next 12-24 months.

Brightika will support "promising titles" with:

  • marketing;
  • traffic acquisition;
  • localization;
  • platform relations support;
  • community management;
  • if necessary, the creation of trailers, positioning, and assistance with demos (whatever that means).

There's no mention of production funding in the announcement.

Brightika is a publisher previously specializing exclusively in casual and hyper-casual mobile projects. The company claims that the total downloads of its products have exceeded 200 million.

"We have helped mobile studios reach millions of users and earn significant amounts. Our next step is to bring our approach to promotion and publishing to PC and consoles, where developers often lack funding and support in distribution," stated Brightika's founder, Alexander Rodichev.
