Motorsport Games has obtained a $2.5 million investment from virtual reality company Pimax

Motorsport Games, the developer behind Le Mans Ultimate, has received a financial boost of $2.5 million through a lead investment by virtual reality firm Pimax. This investment is set to drive the company’s future product innovations while also enhancing its financial position and providing resources for general corporate needs.
The agreement, finalized on April 15, 2025, involved the issuance of 1.8 million shares of Class A common stock and a pre-funded warrant allowing the purchase of up to 377,836 shares of Class A common stock at the nominal price of $0.0001 per share.
Stephen Hood, the CEO and president of Motorsport Games, expressed satisfaction with the investment outcome, saying, "We have been very happy with the response to our very public desire to seek further investment in the company and after comprehensive talks with Pimax, we are delighted to conclude their investment in Motorsport Games." He highlighted the promising synergies and opportunities that the partnership brings.
Robin Weng, founder and chairman of Pimax, remarked, "Through our partnership with Motorsport Games, we aim to better understand and address the specific needs of this user group, enhancing their experience with tailored VR solutions." He emphasized that the future of sim racing depends on moving from traditional screens to immersive VR environments.
Weng concluded by stating, "Pimax will continue to explore similar vertical partnerships to strengthen our user-focused strategy, build deeper engagement, and grow long-term loyalty within our passionate communities."
