TestFly, a prominent entity in providing strategic quality assurance testing solutions for gaming, has announced the acquisition of Brazil-based Red Cerberus from tinyBuild.

Though the specifics of the acquisition deal were not disclosed by TestFly, several sources indicate it involved a payment of $1.5 million. The acquisition will considerably boost TestFly's offerings by merging with Red Cerberus' team of approximately 180 professionals and their modern testing centers.

According to the company's announcement, the merged organization aims to enhance testing automation and provide round-the-clock testing through a global sun-tracking model. They will also increase their support for console, PC, and mobile platforms.

The integration of Red Cerberus into TestFly is progressing, ensuring there will be no disruption to clients or employees during this transition.

TestFly CEO Kevin Chelius stated, "We are delighted to incorporate Red Cerberus into the TestFly fold. Their expertise and esteemed industry knowledge align well with our objective to set new benchmarks in game testing."

He further noted that this move underscores TestFly's commitment to helping developers and publishers provide dependable gaming experiences globally while solidifying their presence in the Latin American market.

TinyBuild's CEO Alex Nichiporchik commented, "Selling Red Cerberus is a significant step towards simplifying our portfolio, allowing us to focus on developing and expanding outstanding intellectual properties."
