Krafton has secured a controlling interest in the Indian gaming studio Nautilus Mobile by acquiring a stake worth $14 million.

Last week concluded with Krafton's acquisition for more than a 75% share in Nautilus, renowned for its Real Cricket franchise, as reported by TechCrunch. This move follows Krafton's previous investment of $5.4 million in Nautilus in 2022.

Nautilus will maintain its current operations and staff of 45. This acquisition marks Krafton's thirteenth studio, adding to its roster that includes developers such as Bluehole, PUBG Studios, and Striking Distance, among others.

Anuj Mankar, CEO of Nautilus, expressed optimism about the partnership, noting that their development capabilities could enhance Krafton's strategy in the Indian gaming market and beyond.

Krafton's corporate lead in India, Nihansh Bhat, highlighted the untapped potential of cricket games, emphasizing efforts to expand this segment not only in India but across other cricket-playing nations.
