Tilting Point has introduced a new $150 million user acquisition fund designed to provide developers with financial support while allowing them to maintain their independence
Tilting Point has launched a new initiative, involving a $150 million fund dedicated to User Acquisition (UA), designed to assist developers in expanding their games and applications.
This initiative marks the company's third fund of substantial size, following efforts in 2016 and 2018. The company has collaborated with over 90 developers globally, drawing on its extensive experience and market insights to support developer needs.
Developers such as Mythical Games and Begin have already joined this program. Additionally, a rapidly expanding web-based gaming hub will be announced soon, benefiting from this financial assistance that promotes growth while preserving developer independence.
Tilting Point distinguishes itself from traditional publishers, venture capitalists, and financial institutions lacking gaming experience by providing a specialized non-dilutive funding structure. This approach allows developers to expand without losing ownership, while receiving guidance from seasoned marketing professionals on UA strategies and best practices.
Kevin Segalla, CEO of Tilting Point, stated, “Our UA funds have played a crucial role for developers of over 200 games. They serve as an effective tool for those aiming to scale efficiently, enabling them to allocate cash strategically to other important areas.” He added, “We are excited to reaffirm our commitment to this field, helping developers grow without giving up equity, which we believe is their most precious asset.”
Last September, Tilting Point made headlines for cutting approximately 90 jobs, which the company explained as part of efforts to sustain the organization’s operations for as long as possible. For more details on that development, visit this link.
