The Finnish company Remedy Entertainment has announced its financial results for 2024. Among other highlights, the company reported that Alan Wake 2 has finally started generating profit.
Alan Wake 2: The Lake House
- According to the report, Remedy's revenue saw a significant increase compared to 2023, up by 49.3% to €50.7 million.
- However, the company was unable to turn a profit. Remedy closed 2024 with operating losses amounting to €4.3 million, a reduction from €28.6 million in losses reported the previous year.
- Throughout 2024, Remedy earned €5.1 million in royalties from game sales, which is 2% less than in 2023. Most of this amount was generated by Control, the first installment of Alan Wake, and Alan Wake Remastered.

- Remedy is preparing to move Control 2 into active production shortly. The shooter FBC: Firebreak and the remake of the Max Payne duology are already in this phase.
- As of December 31, 2024, Remedy employed 367 people, which is a 4.2% increase from the previous year.
