The portal MobileGamer, based on data from the analytics service AppMagic, estimated that the mobile version of Marvel Snap alone earns an average of $110,000 per day from in-app purchases (IAP), with the USA accounting for 60% of this amount. Consequently, due to the lack of access for Americans to the game on January 19-20, the creators of Marvel Snap lost about $130,000 in potential mobile revenue.

Moreover, according to AppMagic, the mobile Marvel Snap has earned $211.48 million worldwide to date with 27.9 million downloads. The USA accounted for $130 million of the net IAP revenue and 6.9 million downloads of the game.

The revenues of Marvel Snap on PC are unknown.

In a post on the social media platform X, the studio Second Dinner stated that it plans to find a new publisher for Marvel Snap to prevent access issues in the USA in the future. Currently, the game is published by Nuverse, a subsidiary of the Chinese company ByteDance, which owns TikTok. The developers did not specify whether the publisher will change only in the USA or in other countries as well.
