Media: The Guillemot family is considering creating a new company together with Tencent. They plan to transfer part of Ubisoft's assets to it
A week ago, Ubisoft announced that it is preparing for a reorganization. Bloomberg sources claim one of the options currently being discussed is spinning off some of Ubisoft's assets into a newly created company.

The new company is expected to be owned by the Guillemot family and Tencent. This deal would allow the Chinese giant to strengthen its control over some of Ubisoft's projects and expand its business outside of China.
As Bloomberg reports, the Guillemot family and Tencent are currently considering which Ubisoft assets should be transferred to the potential company and which should be retained.
Bloomberg sources add that a final decision has not yet been made — the reorganization at the French publisher could still follow a different scenario.
Tencent declined to comment on Bloomberg's source information. Ubisoft stated that they do not intend to comment on the reorganization until it is completed.
