Build A Rocket Boy has acquired PlayFusion
PlayFusion has been acquired by Build A Rocket Boy, though the financial terms remain confidential.
This acquisition will allow PlayFusion to aid Build A Rocket Boy's key ventures such as MindsEye, its expansive world platform Everywhere, and the user-created content suite Arcadia.
Following the acquisition, Mark Gerhard, CEO and CTO of PlayFusion, has been named co-CEO of Build A Rocket Boy.

Earlier in the year, Build A Rocket Boy revealed it had secured $110 million through a Series D funding initiative.
This funding round was spearheaded by RedBird Capital and featured investments from companies like NetEase Games and Galaxy Interactive.
In February, there were reports of layoffs at Build A Rocket Boy, impacting an unspecified number of employees.
