Live Aware Labs raises $4.8 million in seed financing round

A technology company based in Seattle, Live Aware Labs, has successfully secured $4.8 million through a seed funding event.

The funding round was spearheaded by venture capital firm Transcend, with participation from A16z Speedrun, Lifelike Capital, and a selection of strategic angel investors.

Established in 2022 by industry veterans from the gaming sector, Sean Vesce and David Berger, Live Aware Labs focuses on advancing developers' capabilities. It offers AI-driven tools designed to gather and analyze feedback from players, identifying areas that may require enhancement.

This financial support is intended to enhance its platform and boost the company’s presence in the market.

According to CEO and co-founder Sean Vesce, "The seed round signals the trust from leading investors in the potential of our platform to transform the game development process."

He further added, "With the endorsement of highly visionary investment funds, Live Aware is set to claim a considerable portion of the market. Our goal is to aid developers in constructing games more effectively, slash costs related to unsuccessful launches, and bolster both product and player retention."

Andrew Sheppard, a general partner at Transcend, stated, "The real-time feedback mechanism offered by Live Aware is changing the game for developers, allowing them to enhance game quality and expedite production."

He also noted, "Their approach in harnessing player insights and aspiring to overhaul game development methodologies is in complete harmony with our mission to back pioneering entrepreneurs who are defining the future of gaming."
