Drama Studios, a French video game company, has secured a $2.5 million seed funding round to enhance its core team and bring its game, Unrecord, to a more polished demo stage.

Last year, the hyper-realistic gameplay trailer for Unrecord was unveiled by Drama Studios, amassing over 11 million views on IGN and 80 million views on X/Twitter. This rapid popularity has made it one of the top wishlisted titles on Steam.

Despite attracting interest from major global publishers, Drama Studios chose to collaborate with The Games Fund due to its "industry expertise" and a shared vision for the gaming sector.

Ilia Eremeev, a co-founder and managing partner at The Games Fund, remarked, “We were astounded by the video, yet what is truly impressive is that the game experience exceeds its visual presentation."

The studio plans to explore potential partnerships and publishing opportunities once Unrecord reaches a coherent demo form.
