Earth Defense Force 6 has sold 550,000 copies over the past two years
The developers of the shooter Earth Defense Force 6, which features battles against alien invaders on Earth, have also boasted about their game's success. They announced that the project's sales have reached 550,000 copies.

Previously, the sales of Earth Defense Force 6 were disclosed in September 2022, when the game was only available in Japan. At that time, developer Sandlot and publisher D3Publisher revealed that the shooter sold 300,000 copies in its debut week, marking the best start in the series.
The release of Earth Defense Force 6 in Japan took place on August 25, 2022. It was released in the West relatively recently—on July 25, 2024. The game is available on PC and PlayStation 4 and 5 consoles.
