Crime Scene Cleaner was purchased 200,000 times in less than two weeks

The Polish publisher PlayWay reports a new success. According to the head of the company, Krzysztof Kostowski, the crime scene cleaning simulator, Crime Scene Cleaner, has sold over 200,000 copies.

It took the game less than two weeks to achieve this milestone. Let's recall, the release of Crime Scene Cleaner took place on August 14 on PC.

Kostowski did not share other current metrics of the game. Previously, he reported that Crime Scene Cleaner broke even shortly after its release—within the first three days, the game earned $1.4 million against a budget of 1.4 million zlotys ($361,700).

It is noteworthy that Crime Scene Cleaner has been featured in the top-selling games chart on Steam for two consecutive weeks. During the week of August 13-20, it ranked 15th, surpassing games like Elden Ring, War Thunder, and GTA V in revenue. By the end of the week of August 20-27, it dropped to 42nd place.
