Virtuos has acquired the outsourcing companies for Sea of Thieves, Hearthstone, and the new Fable
The major gaming outsourcing company Virtuos has grown even larger. The company announced the acquisition of the British outsourcing studio Third Kind Games.

The terms and amount of the deal have not been disclosed. It is only known that the leaders of Third Kind Games will continue to head the studio.
Third Kind Games was founded in 2016 by former employees of FreeStyle Games — a studio that was part of Activision Blizzard for a long time and has belonged to Ubisoft since 2017. The outsourcing team participated in the development of games such as Predecessor, Hearthstone, Blankos Block Party, Forza Horizon 4, Sea of Thieves, and Fable. Currently, Third Kind Games has 70 employees, but they plan to double the number within the next two years.
