Google has announced the opening of applications for its 2024 Indie Games Fund.

This initiative will allocate a total of $2 million among a selection of Latin American indie game studios, with each studio expected to receive between $150,000 and $200,000.

The fund is aimed at independent game developers who have previously launched their titles on Google Play, as well as those available on other mobile platforms, PC, and console.

Applications will be accepted until September 13, 2024, although those submitted by August 30, 2024, will be prioritized.

In the previous year, ten studios benefited from the $2 million fund. Recipients included Actoon Studios, 67 Bits, Ogre Pixel, Big Green Pillow, Pincer Games, Blu Studios, Creative Hand, Mother Gaia, Purple Tree, and Rockhead Studios.
