UK's Fusebox Games has been purchased by Nazara Technologies for $27.2 million.

Established in 2016, Fusebox is a mobile gaming studio located in the UK. The studio is known for free-to-play interactive story games such as Love Island and is working on several new titles based on international TV properties.

Nitish Mittersain, CEO and founder of Nazara, commented, "We see significant potential in creating a globally recognized gaming business leveraging our solid base in India. Our aim is to assist global studios with improved user acquisition methods, data analysis, live operations, and innovative strategies."

"Our current IPs exemplify this approach. Partnering with the skilled team at Fusebox aligns with our vision to expand Nazara into an influential global gaming company," Mittersain added.

In March, Nazara revealed its plans to allocate $100 million for mergers and acquisitions to further its expansion goals.

Mittersain emphasized, "We are keen on investing in and acquiring gaming studios worldwide, particularly focusing on the 500 million gamers in India as well as the extensive North American market."
