Infogrames acquired the Surgeon Simulator franchise from tinyBuild

The Surgeon Simulator franchise has changed owners once more. It now belongs to Infogrames — the revived publisher brand Atari from a couple of months ago.

Surgeon Simulator 2

Before Infogrames, the franchise was owned by tinyBuild. They acquired Surgeon Simulator, as well as the games I am Fish and I am Bread, from the developer studio Bossa Studios for $3 million in 2022. The cost of the purchase for Infogrames has not been disclosed.

Infogrames has stated that they plan to actively develop the Surgeon Simulator franchise. They are not ruling out the release of new games and the appearance of themed merchandise.
